Barcelona have been negotiating with Arsenal and Hector Bellerin, and it’s now been confirmed that a deal has been done.
The 27-year-old will sign a one-year deal with Barcelona that will not include an option for a further year, meaning he could be a free agent again in less than 12 months.
An update from Fabrizio Romano was released at 3pm on deadline day stating that the move will go ahead following weeks of negotiations with player and club.
Hector Bellerín to Barcelona, here we go! Been told it’s all agreed, one year contract with NO option for further season. Bellerín will sign until June 2023 in the next hours. 🚨🔵🔴 #FCB #DeadlineDay

The deal will happen due to Arsenal terminating the contract with the defender who has spent over 11 years at the club since joining the Gunners youth academy in 2011.
Bellerin was surplus to requirements under Mikel Arteta who already has Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Cedric Soares to rely on.
