The Gunners have been in negotiations with the 27-year-old for over two weeks in order to reach a settlement that would allow him to become a free agent.

And now ESPN’s James Olley has confirmed that Bellerin and Arsenal have come to a solution and the right-back is now in advanced negotiations with Barcelona.

Just moments later an update came from Fabrizio Romano who on the flip side has revealed that personal terms have already been agreed for the Spaniard.

All that remains is Barcelona to make a decision on actually offering the contract to make things official, which could come down to other moves completing first.

Barcelona are also trying to offload Memphis Depay, Jordi Alba and former Arsenal man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is destined for a Chelsea transfer.

In the midst of all of this Bellerin will be the bottom priority with a deal easier to do after the window shuts if he is indeed a free agent.

It will see an 11 year spell with Arsenal draw to a close on what has been a momentous part of his career since moving to Arsenal’s youth team from Barcelona.

Bellerin will now complete the merry-go-round by heading back to his original club who have stepped in after Real Betis pulled out due to financial issues.
