3 – Mika Biereth
The highly promising striker has joined Dutch side RKC Waalwijk on a season-long loan which will give him a great opportunity to feature in Eredivisie games.
Having only just joined Arsenal a year ago, the 19-year-old has been a big part of the U23s squad scoring 13 times in 29 appearances during 2021/22, ten of which came in the Premier League 2 competition.
Biereth worked up his way up through Fulham’s attacking ranks which landed him with the move to the Gunners, but it’s thought that he now requires game time amongst senior players in order to ensure of any chance to make it in the Arsenal first team.
It’s hoped that the familiar surroundings of his home nation will offer the Dutchman some confidence to focus on what really matters, which is scoring goals.
