City 3-0 Arsenal: Three Questions We Were Left Asking

A total of 101 days. That’s how long we had to wait for The Arsenal to return to our screens. Weirdly though, it only took 5 minutes of madness for the real Arsenal to show up.

Moments before and after the half-time whistle, things went from bad, to worse, to dreadful as an opening strike from Raheem Sterling was quickly followed up by a David Luiz red card and subsequent penalty, which was of course slotted away by City’s Kevin De Bruyne. Cue the anarchy on Twitter.

For Mikel Arteta, the unexpected break was a welcome incentive for his side, having had very little time to rubber stamp his brand of football on what looks like a broken squad. Things, inevitably, didn’t go to plan, leaving a lot of us wondering what might’ve been said in the dressing room at full time.
