When you’re in the Arsenal squad, you know that one bad performance can be accompanied by a week of online abuse.
But for Francis Coquelin, the frustration Gunners supporters are feeling is continuously growing with every game that goes by, and many have had enough.
The Frenchman looked out of place whilst trying to hold together a makeshift midfield that included the highly talented Oxlade-Chamberlain in a more central role.
And with Granit Xhaka back from suspension and Mohamed Elneny finding 20 minutes on the pitch, Wenger is now being pressured into dropping Coquelin.
He may well be able to provide a big tackle when needed, but silly mistakes lead to cheap yellow cards and then his talents are all but diminished for the rest of the game.
Here’s some of the best reaction to his performance against Hull City…
Coquelin can’t start against Bayern. Chamberlain playing great, Xhaka and Elneny back. Yet he will.

Elneny, Xhaka and Ox have to start in a 3 man midfield at Bayern. Will never happen though, Wenger will stick with Coquelin

Omg Coquelin is about to break the most misplaced passes record in one game today.

Why does Coquelin try stuff that’s out of his depth?

Coquelin out, we’re winning the Champions League

Good to get back to winning ways. Bring it on Bayern. Please don’t start Coquelin

Kante>Fernandinho >Dembele>Henderson >Herrera>Coquelin.

With Coquelin in the side we have won only 9 of 22 matches in 2016/17. In the 13 games without him, we’ve won them all. Damning statistics.

Bayern Munich will destroy our midfield if we play Coq and Ox in the midfield. Should be 4-3-3 imo. Welbz, Alexis, Lucas should start.

Poor Coq…but ELNENNNNYYYY
