Arsenal have made a £8.5million bid for Chelsea midfielder Charly Musonda. The Gunners hold Musonda in high regard, and he is reportedly considering his future at Chelsea.
The news has been broken as an exclusive on Twitter by French media outlet footmercato

Musonda was an Arsenal target when at Anderlecht, but he opted for Chelsea. He has been unable to break into the first team though, and Arsene Wenger may be able to offer him a first team chance. He refused to rule out a move earlier this week:
‘I’m also well aware of the news, nothing has been done yet,’ he said.

‘I will reflect personally with my family and agent and come to a conclusion that hopefully benefits the continuity of my progression.
‘I’m looking forward to playing football next year.’
Musonda is an exciting Beglian teenager, capable of playing on either wing. Jose Mourinho will not be looking to let him go, especially after the loss of Petr Cech to the Gunners. But will Mourinho be able to turn down £8.5million for a player so far away from their first team at the moment?
