2 – Rosicky vs Sunderland (Home)

This was sitting in my number one spot for a long, long time, but after hundreds of replays, it was moved to second place.
When you want to educate a player about pass and move football, you show him a clip of this goal.
The real beauty of this move starts just after Rosicky cuts inside. After a delicate touch to Cazorla, the fireworks begin. Cazorla cushions the ball and uses it’s momentum to push it along – all in one touch – to Wilshere. Jack then takes the power off the ball as he lays it off to Rosicky, who had continued his run between the Englishman and Spaniard. Then, Tomáš toe pokes the ball to Giroud, who manages to flick the pass between two Sunderland defenders back into the Czech’s path, capping off a lovely one-two. The move is finished with a delightful chip, giving ex-Arsenal keeper Vito Mannone no chance, and sending the Emirates into hysterics.
To put things into perspective, this goal would easily make in into my top ten Arsenal goals of all time – but it isn’t my number one…
