However, the likes of Alexis Sanchez and David Ospina will miss out on this week as they continue to enjoy their well-deserved break after returning from this years Copa America.

The news of Alexis not being included comes as no surprise after his Chile side successfully won the Copa America a few weeks ago. He is also set to miss out on a number of the opening games whilst he enjoys some time away from the football pitch.

David Ospina has appeared to put to bed any rumours suggesting he could be heading away from the Emirates this summer, and despite him missing out this week he will be determined to return fighting.

Other names that have missed the cut are Danny Welbeck and Thomas Rosicky, who are staying at home to work on minor injuries.

Welbeck is currently nursing a slight knee problem which he picked up at the end of the season, and is still battling to return to full training.

Rosicky will miss out on what could be his last pre-season tour with the Gunners, after he also suffered a problem with his knee whilst playing Iceland last month.

Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry is still recovering from this years Under-21 Euro Championships, and Wenger decided to keep him rested.

Gnabry has recently been linked with a move away from Arsenal, with a whole host of Premier League clubs sniffing around the German youngster.

Unsurprisingly, a handful of names have been missed off of the squad list as they prepare to complete a move to other clubs this summer.

Carl Jenkinson is set to return to West Ham on loan later on in the month. Joel Campbell has become an outcast in the club, and will reportedly make a permanent move to Besiktas.

Yaya Sanogo will continue talks regarding a move to Dutch club Ajax, and Arsenal fans can expect a confirmation of that news when the club return from Singapore.
