Every week I’ll be bringing you Arsenal Tweets of the Week. This is a roundup from a small selection of Arsenal-related tweets chosen by me.
I’m starting to wonder whether somewhere on the beaches of Brazil Arsene Wenger was kidnapped and replaced by his Doppelgänger. Either that, or he’s still suffering from the effects of too much sun. This is Arsenal’s third confirmed signing in the summer transfer window. It just NEVER happens! With Fabianski out on loan to Swansea City, we need another decent goalkeeper. Whether or not Ospina, who has joined us from Nice, will oust Wojciech Szczesny from the top spot and become our Numero Uno remains to be seen.
It’s official – @Arsenal are to sign David Ospina! Full details here: http://t.co/vDDq9LHE8g #WelcomeOspina pic.twitter.com/MtNnHFz4WT

After Arsenal’s defeat in the New York Cup by the New York Red Bulls on Saturday 26 July, Major League Soccer (MLS) use Thierry Henry’s name to grab interest in an article discussing options for Arsenal’s Zelalem’s potential future in his international career, including the US Mens National Team (USMNT). We already have a number of Arsenal players at international level and it’s great that at 17, even though Zelalem has yet to make the first team, he already has options. BTW, unlike “the EPL” it’s not “the MLS”, just MLS.

After much speculation the signing of Calum Chambers from Southampton has finally been confirmed. Vis-a-vis my previous post above: Arsene, is that really you?

There have been two signings this week but we lose Carl “Jenko” Jenkinson who is now on a season long loan to West Ham United. Here’s hoping he keeps the current bedroom decor while getting some regular first team football skills in readiness for return to the fold.
Good luck to Carl Jenkinson at West Ham. Whatever the outcome the bedroom will always remain the same. #afc https://t.co/0UJoo8qadq

I may have spoken too soon! Let’s hope that it’s not all over for Jenko before it’s even started!
