Arsenal Star’s Options Running Thin As PSG Pull Out Of The Transfer Race

Believe it or not, PSG are unwilling to pursue one of Arsenal’s most influential players this summer because he’ll be TOO expensive for them.

The Ligue 1 heavyweights have been following Alexis Sanchez all season given the circumstances, and felt a marquee signing like that could fix their problems.

PSG failed to scoop the title this season and a player of Alexis’ stature would not only appease the fans, but show rivals Monaco that they mean business.

However, the latest report from PSG specialist media outlet, Le Parisien states the club are unwilling to match the Chilean’s wage demands for one of two reasons.

Arsenal have offered their star man £280,000-per-week to stay in North London for a few more years, a deal that will see him become the most expensive player in the Gunners’ history.

As well as that, Arsene Wenger has met with the forward to discuss potential transfer targets as the club gear up to get back into the Champions League.

PSG have joined Bayern Munich in pulling out of the race for Alexis’ signature, which means his options are running out if he wants to get away from Arsenal.

Wenger has repeatedly stated that he won’t let Alexis join a Premier League rival and will ensure he see’s out his contact at the club even if that means leaving on a free next season.
