Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson appears to have hinted at a move away from Arsenal, with several Premier League clubs said to be interested in him.
Crystal Palace, Brighton and Brentford are said to be interested in signing Nelson, according to CBS Sports.
Nelson was often left out of the matchday squad for the Gunners last season and there seems to be an acceptance that the 21-year-old’s time at Arsenal may be over.
On Friday night, Nelson may have given away plans on his future. The Englishman ‘liked’ a post on Instagram about him being on the way to joining Brighton.
Whether Nelson is set to leave on loan or permanently is not clear. The Gunners will want to avoid a situation like Serge Gnabry, who moved on only to become one of the best wingers in the world.
If Nelson were to go on loan, Arsenal will need to extend his contract first. Reiss has just one year remaining on his current deal, so it is very much decision time for player and club.
Arsenal have reaped rewards from trusting Bukayo Saka with first-team minutes this season and Nelson did show potential in his teenage years to suggest he could also get to the very top.
Arsenal have agreed to a £50million fee to sign Brighton defender Ben White. It could be possible that a loan or permanent move that would see Nelson go the other way has been agreed upon – time will tell.
