Fresh Arsenal conducted a poll on Twitter which gave fans the chance to vote for the Arsenal player of the year based on four nominees as chosen by the fans. Laurent Koscielny finished up in 4th with just 4% of the final vote.

Ozil’s 16 assists this season will have played a part in the fans decision. The German has made a notable improvement in 2015 and especially since August. He added another goal and assist to his tally during the 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Monday night.

Alexis Sanchez, despite currently being out injured rightly picked up a large proportion of the votes (26%). The Chilean will be hoping he can contribute to a title winning team when he returns to the squad next week.
