Millwall have successfully completed the transfer of young midfielder Harry Donovan, who will join the League One side immediately.
The Arsenal star was a member of the academy graduate scheme and was accepted on a trial at the Midlands club earlier this week.
And following a series of successful performances, manager Neil Harris decided to sign the 17-year-old on a permanent basis.
As you can see from the above picture, Donovan was a regular call-up to train with the first team squad, and gained vital experience from some of Arsenal’s stars.
However, despite Arsene Wenger’s admiration for the youth project, Donovan failed to obtain a professional contract after his scholarship deal came to an end.
Therefore, the player and club worked together to find a better solution to help both parties, and now he will continue to play football with the third division side.
Donovan joins Jonatas Centeno and George Dobson as scholars from last year that will have left the club during the 2015/16 campaign.
