The 20-year-old winger has faced difficult times at the Hawthorns since moving back in the summer, and The Telegraph have confirmed Arsene Wenger has cut his loan move short.

Gnabry last featured for The Baggies back in September’s 3-0 defeat to Norwich in the Capital One Cup, and has failed to show any sign of improvement to get back into the first team picture.

Earlier on in the season manager Pulis publicly called out the German, stating that he “was not at the level to play games” in the Premier League.

Since then, Gnabry has stuck to his preferred position on the right hand side of midfield whilst dropping to the Under 21’s side, missing out on vital top level experience.

However, Arsene Wenger has always been an admirer of the Germany international, and has decided to end his misery and give him a second chance at another loan spell.

With Joel Campbell flourishing, Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez, The Ox and Aaron Ramsey all available on the wings, there is no chance of Gnabry getting a run-out with the Gunners.

Therefore, it is believed a host of Championship clubs are now in the running for Gnabry’s services for the remainder of the season, with Brighton leading the chase.

This way Gnabry will get to play regular competitive football and return to Arsenal in the summer having learnt a thing or two about his positioning.
