3. Douglas Costa
This rumour has come from nowhere and has no real source, but the Gunners do have a long term interest in the Brazilian. It was widely reported that a few years ago Arsenal had an offer turned down for Costa. The futures of Cazorla, Podolski and Campbell remain uncertain, so a move for Costa is not off the cards. The fee is reported to be in the region of £16million – a figure I am sure Arsene Wenger would be willing to pay for such a versatile player. Some have suggested that Wenger could even try to convert the Brazilian into a striker. I think this is unlikely, but due to speculation mounting, Costa is probably the third most likely to join and that is why he has made the list.
