Arsenal advanced after a nervy 1-0 win after two legs against a strong Besiktas side. The Turkish side gave everything but in the end Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez made the difference with a smart finish. So with the Gunners now into the group stage for a 17th consecutive season, who could they face?
The group stage takes place at 4:45pm BST on Thursday. A team will be drawn from each pot to form eight groups. Arsenal are in Pot 1 along with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Benfica, Porto, Atletico Madrid. Therefore, Arsenal cannot be drawn with any one of those sides, thankfully. Arsenal also cannot obviously be drawn against other English teams.Â
Pot 2 looks like this: Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04, Man City, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Shakhtar, Basel, Zenit.
Pot 3: Leverkusen, Olympiakos, CSKA Moscow, Ajax, Liverpool, Sporting Lisbon, Galatasaray, Athletic Bilbao.
Pot 4: Roma, Anderlecht, Monaco, Maribor, Malmo, BATE, APOEL, Ludogorets.

In my opinion this would be the toughest group:Â Arsenal, PSG, Galatasaray, Roma.
I think this is the easiest group we could hope for: Arsenal, FC Basel, Sporting Lisbon, Ludogorets
Random prediction: Arsenal, Ajax, CSKA, Monaco.
