Arsenal may be looking to bring in a couple of senior players in the next couple of days, but one younger player who could be on his way is Manchester City midfielder, Jadon Sancho. According to an Exclusive in The Telegraph, City have struggled to hear from Sancho and he has not been turning up for training on numerous occasions.

Sancho is thought to be close friends with several younger players at Arsenal including Reiss Nelson, who has impressed in pre-season and been promoted to the first team squad. Fresh Arsenal understands that Arsenal have offered Sancho a chance to be in the first team set up at The Emirates and that a deal could well materialise before the transfer deadline.

Sancho’s behaviour at City currently is not ideal, with staff struggling to get hold of Sancho who is yet to explain many of his absences from training.

Sancho is said to be disgruntled at his lack of first team opportunities at Manchester City and would like a return to London. Sancho only joined City in 2015 from Watford for £500,000.

Perhaps Sancho would get a chance in the first team set up in the League Cup and Europa League games this season. Arsenal face competition from Tottenham, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Leipzig – any club would have to just pay compensation to sign Sancho due to his age (17).
