A man not generally well known to the majority of Arsenal fans, yet he possesses similar attributes to Arsene Wenger before he came to Arsenal in 1996. Garcia is of French origin and was the former manager of Lille, winning Ligue 1 in 2011 whilst unearthing the talents of Eden Hazard and Gervinho, the latter joining Arsenal the following season. Garcia is known to have quick attacking styles to his teams. It was evident in France and is currently taking Roma to the next level in the Seria A. His side finished second in his first season at the Italian giants and are looking to challenge Juventus for the title once again in the current campaign. Rudi Garcia is at the ripe age of 50, which is seemingly the perfect age for a manager to join a massive club like Arsenal. His philosophy so to speak boasts the ability to attack with precision and defend till the final whistle. Rudi Garcia’s ever-growing knowledge of the game, and improvement in every season, would do well to diminish the fears at Arsenal of a possible collapse after the end of the Wenger era.
