The 3 Most Dangerous Galatasaray Players To Watch Out For Against Arsenal

Wednesday night Arsenal host Galatasaray in the second round of matches in this seasons Champions League. The Turkish side began their campaign by salvaging a point with an injury time equaliser against Anderlecht.

Galatasaray aren’t in the best of form, they sit fifth in their domestic league after four games. In their last three league games they have lost, drawn and most recently beaten 16th place Sivasspor at home.

Here are three players Arsenal should be wary of, starting and ending with former Arsenal transfer targets.

 1. Burak Yilmaz

Yilmaz is a 29 year old Turkish striker. He’s the clubs leading goal scorer domestically, with two goals so far this campaign. He was also the scorer of the late equaliser in the previous Champions League game. Yilmaz has been top scorer in the Turkish League three out of the last four seasons.

The Turk will play up front as part of a pair, with Wesley Sneijder just behind. Yilmaz isn’t blessed with pace, but his excellent movement inside the box could cause Arsenal problems.

Look for clever movement in the box to lose his marker and a good header of the ball. Click below to see the other two players.
