Arsenal won a vital three points on Wednesday evening with a 2-1 win over their arch rivals.
The Gunners started with high energy but couldn’t turn the pressure into goals. Tottenham then had a couple of openings and Heung Min Son’s deflected shot saw them take the lead.
Arsenal didn’t let that dampen their spirits though, fighting back almost immediately with Gabriel’s header deflecting in to level the score.
Leandro Trossard rediscovered his shooting form right on time, smashing into the far corner just before the break.
The second half saw Arsenal squander many chances to put the game to bed. It felt like, given recent fortunes, the Gunners would pay for their lack of potency by conceding late on. But… they held on and grabbed a huge three points.
