Arsenal welcome Manchester City to The Emirates on Sunday in what will be a huge game for the club.
After a disappointing defeat in the Champions League, the Gunners must respond and Manchester City will be looking to do the same after losing 2-1 at Wolves last week.
But Arsenal, after a long run of defeats to City must draw a line in the sand on Sunday and make sure the result is different this time around. Changes are likely, some forced due to injury.
Have a look how I think we could line up for the game below. Disagree? Create your Arsenal XI at the bottom of this article.
Goalkeeper: David Raya
After an imperfect performance in Lens, some are calling for Aaron Ramsdale to come back between the sticks, but I’d be shocked if Arteta opts to make a change there again. Raya has been very good for the most part and is clearly more comfortable in possesion.
Defenders: Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel, Oleksandr Zinchenko
White didn’t start in the week but I’m sure he will come back in for this one, and the rest remains unchanged.
Midfielders: Thomas Partey, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard
Partey hasn’t played for several weeks, but with this being such a huge game and a two week international break to follow, I could see Arteta giving him 60 minutes in this game, with Jorginho to come in off the bench or a more attacking option if needed.
Forwards: Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus
I think with the break to come, Arteta will take a risk on Saka if he is looking OK. Partey and Rice in midfield would allow for Havertz to play as the false nine like he did in the Community Shield. Jesus would stay on the left, giving Arsenal two dangerous wide forwards.
