The Gunners are showing serious interest in securing the services of Galatasaray’s promising defender, Sacha Boey.
With William Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu out due to injury, our defensive options were stretched thin towards the end of the season. Boey predominantly plays as a right back, which would free up Ben White to cover in central defense when needed.
Boey, a talented 22-year-old Frenchman, has been impressing with his solid performances in Turkey. His defensive abilities and composure on the field have drawn comparisons to the legendary Bacary Sagna, a former Arsenal favourite. It’s no wonder our scouts have been closely monitoring him.
An initial bid of 17 million euros was rejected by Galatasaray according to Nevzat Dindar. However, it’s believed that a bid of around 25 million euros could do the trick. It remains unclear as to whether Arsenal would be willing to bridge that gap, or explore alternative options.
Boey is young and has tremendous potential for growth, making him an ideal fit for Arsenal. Our club has a history of nurturing young talents, and we’re excited about the prospect of seeing Boey develop under the guidance of our experienced defenders and coaching staff. He could become a vital player for us in the coming seasons.
This potential signing could bolster our defence, strengthening our squad ahead of an assault on both the Premier League and Champions League next season.
