Arsenal announced on Thursday that Dani Ceballos of Real Madrid will join the Gunners on a temporary deal.
The dynamic midfielder will join up with the Arsenal squad for the remainder of pre-season. Ceballos is thought to be a short term replacement for Aaron Ramsey, whilst youngster Joe Willock grows into his role.

Ceballos is determined to be part of Spain’s Euro 2020 squad next summer. Zidane did not consider the player part of his plans for next season, so he has been looking for a team that will play him regularly.

Tottenham had also been interested, but it is believed that Unai Emery played a big part in convincing the player to come to the red part of North London.
Ceballos will wear the number 8 shirt at Arsenal, following in the footsteps of Ramsey and highlighting his importance to the first team for the upcoming season.
