Arsenal are beginning to put the pressure on some of their key departures as Arsene Wenger prepares for the busiest three days of his Gunners career.
Kieran Gibbs was one of the first names on Wenger’s clear-out list this summer after bagging a bargain in Sead Kolasinac back in May following an unsteady run of form from the Englishman.
Wenger’s decision to leave Gibbs behind on the pre-season tour plus the fact he’s become surplus to requirements on the left side of our midfield means he’s closer to an exit than ever.
But as the clock runs down, it seems the 27-year-old has been given a choice on where his future lies, with West Brom and Watford both prepared to meet Arsenal’s asking price.
Despite the club trying to get £15million for his services earlier in the window, in order to speed up the deal they are now willing to accept just £7million which has sparked some interest.
Watford agreed on the transfer fee over the weekend but after West Brom caught sniff of it, they are now ready to come back in with an offer that could tempt Gibbs to move away from London.

The news comes from the reliable Arsenal correspondent at the London Evening Standard, James Olley, who reports Gibbs will be handed two offers in the next 48 hours.
Olley goes on to suggest that reaching an agreement on personal terms could be a stumbling block for Watford and Tony Pulis’ long-term admiration would tempt him to dip his hand into his pocket a little deeper.
