Gunners Back-Up To Be Sent On Loan Again As Wenger Eyes Huge Defensive Signing

Arsenal are looking to open up as much space in the squad as possible and are on the brink of letting one of their promising defenders head out on loan AGAIN.

Krystian Bielik has had some rare shots in the first-team but at 19 years of age just isn’t able to cope with the pressure of having 60,000 demanding fans on his back for 90 minutes.

Whilst reports have suggested a loan move all summer, it now appears he’s closer than ever to a switch after Goal’s Chris Wheatley confirmed Bielik is in talks with two Championship sides.

Both Leeds United and Nottinham Forest are interested in taking on the centre-back, who has proved to be a versatile defender whenever given the chance to play with senior members of the Arsenal squad.

This is just the latest transfer movement that suggests Wenger is clearing his fringe players to welcome a heavyweight signing like Virgil van Dijk to partner Laurent Koscielny.

However, Wenger can’t even start negotiations until things have been cleared up with players like Bielik, who themselves are in no rush to sort a move away from London Colney.

Having captained the U23’s on multiple occasions, the youngster now wants a full season at a club where he can really shine, following a less spectacular spell at Birmingham last season.

Unlike other members of the squad, Arsenal aren’t in any immediate rush to let go of Bielik as he is still regarded as an academy player and has only ever featured in League Cup games.

However, he’s in that tricky patch of his career where the U23’s is no longer a challenge and senior football will really kick him on to becoming a more demanding player at the back.

In other news, Jon Toral has completed a permanent move to Hull City, whilst Lucas Perez is close to agreeing a £14million return to his beloved Deportivo La Coruna.
