When you draw Bayern Munich in the Champions League knockout stages and lost away to Everton in the same week, you’d expect the mood in camp to be pretty bleak.
However, it seems these Arsenal players didn’t get the memo and have quickly shaken off Tuesday night’s result in order to focus on Sunday’s title showdown.
Well, it might not be a league decider just yet, but with Chelsea nine points in front of the Gunners at the top of the table there needs to be some sort of response from this squad.
With Aaron Ramsey, Danny Welbeck and Shkodran Mustafi all set to be re-introduced fully by the end of the month, Wenger needs to get over the stumbling block that is Pep Guardiola fairly unscathed.
To do that, he’ll need each and every one of these players to up there game, otherwise it really could be Chelsea’s title to lose (and we’re only in December).
