Return Dates Set For Bellerin, Ramsey, Chamberlain, Walcott and Welbeck

Arsenal’s injury problems have been well documented over the last few years, but with no more to add to the list over the international break – it’s time to focus on the players returning to fitness.

Hector Bellerin – To return vs. West Brom (Saturday 21st November)

The Spanish defender has played a huge part in the Gunners success this season and will return for the game against West Brom on Saturday. His injury ruled him out of the Bayern Munich and Tottenham matches (both of which we failed to win) and with no international duties to fulfil, the quick defender should be fresh and fit ahead of the weekends game.

Aaron Ramsey – To return vs. Dinamo Zagreb (Tuesday 24th November)

Arsene Wenger said that Ramsey ‘should be back on Monday’ which could mean he will be available for selection against Dinamo Zagreb. The Gunners need to win Tuesday’s game to keep their Champions League hopes alive. Ramsey’s well-rounded skill set has been missed on that right hand side, with current occupier Joel Campbell providing less security for the right back behind him.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – Likely to return vs. Dinamo Zagreb (Tuesday 24th November)

Chamberlain appears to be slightly behind Ramsey is his recovery, but could also return to fitness in time for the game against Zagreb. If not, he is almost certain to make next Sunday’s game against Norwich. With the Gunners really lacking pace and width in the side right now, his highly-anticipated return will be welcomed.

Theo Walcott – Likely to return vs. Aston Villa (13th December)

There were reports that Walcott could be out until the new year, but these have since been denied. With an exact return date not yet established, we can only speculate from what’s been said. Wenger hinted that the player was ahead of schedule, and so we see the league game against Aston Villa as a realistic time to return.

Danny Welbeck – Likely to return vs. West Brom (6th February 2016)

The 24 year old has had an awful time with injuries lately, but there was some positive news earlier this week – a return date set. The club think he will be back in training by January, meaning a return to match fitness is expected to happen at some time in February. Just in time to save Wenger a few quid in the transfer market you’d expect..
