Arsenal are still actively working on transfers with Tuesday’s 6pm transfer deadline moving ever closer.
Whilst most fans would like to see two signings arrive, the general feeling around the club at the moment is that there is likely to be one arrival and one departure (Joel Campbell).
Well connected journalist John Cross said yesterday: “Arsene Wenger is still trying to get a deal done before the transfer window shuts on Tuesday,” Cross wrote in the Mirror.
“They are genuinely working on things, it’s just a question of whether there is enough time and if deals can get done.”
We have also been informed by a number of reliable sources that the Gunners are still actively involved in the transfer market and remain confident of getting a deal over the line. If they do manage to do that, they have kept it incredibly quiet and especially if it’s a big name, the team deserve enormous credit.
However for now, the fans will continue to be impatient and the clock continues to tick.
