Arsenal could be close to the signing of Morgan Schneiderlin, after an apparently reliable journalist from The Sun told TalkSPORT he expected the transfer to go through, along with the imminent arrival of Petr Cech.
In an exclusive interview, journalist Charlie Wyett told TalkSPORT:
‘I think Morgan Schneiderlin will be joining Arsenal,’
‘He would be a good signing along with Petr Cech’ he added.
The Metro suggest Wyett has broken a number of Arsenal exclusives – I don’t know if this is the case? If anyone does know about Wyett’s credibility please comment below.
We wrote an article yesterday commenting on the reliability of the latest rumours and listed Schneiderlin as the most likely midfield arrival.
Schneiderlin, 24 is a Premier League proven defensive midfielder, capable of playing alongside someone like Francis Coquelin. I feel they would compliment each other and be able to rotate with each other in the holding role. If his wages were £80,000 per week or less and we could get him for close to £20million I would say that’s a very good signing.
