Arsenal appear resigned to losing Alexis Sanchez and to Manchester City of all clubs. The Gunners are willing to accept a cash only bid if it meets their £70million asking price. It is thought that City are willing to pay such an amount and will add the Chilean to their ever growing attacking force. Pep Guardiola will be keen to reunite with the man he managed at Barcelona, but Arsenal fans will surely revolt if their star man is sold without a replacement. Arguably this is the best thing for Arsenal to do with the fact that Alexis has just one year remaining on his current deal in mind. If he is not committed to the club, then there’s the door. Arsenal need players who are going to give 100% every game, and judging by his performance at Anfield, Alexis will not do that this season.
