4. Serge Aurier
As we all know, Bacary Sagna has now departed and has gone to the Premier league champions Manchester city. So we are in need of a new right back at Arsenal because I don’t really feel it is Carl Jenkinson time just yet, I think he still needs to mature and to gain a little more experience from other right backs.
Aurier is an Ivorian international and is only 21 years of age. However, despite being so young, he was voted in the French league team of the season after having a fantastic season with his current club Toulouse. Serge Aurier is a very similar right back to Bacary Sagna, but I believe Serge has a much more potential and can become one of the best full backs in the world if he continues in the form that he has produced and improves his game in some areas.
The youngster started in the first group game for the Ivory Coast against Japan and after being 1-0 down; Serge Aurier showed his qualities and produced two wonderful crosses to turn the game on its head and earn Ivory Coast the 3 points. Aurier would cost around £7-£10 million which seems very reasonable considering the potential the young kid possesses.
