4 – Yaya Sanogo
Why is he still at this club? If someone can please provide any details on that I’d really appreciate it because it’s not funny anymore.
There was a time when Sanogo was seen as this hot-shot kid that looked to be scoring all sorts of goals in the French second division.
Sure, we’ve had some banter with the centre forward but his time has come to an end with the Gunners and I can’t wait for him to be scrapped from the wage bill.
Despite being fit for the entire second half of the season, there’s been no need to use Sanogo in the first team and he’s made absolutely no appearances.
Since joining back in 2013 he’s scored one goal for the club, a scrappy shot against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League group stages.
I understand he’s a player that’s developing but at 24 it’s time to question whether he can make it in the Premier League, and the answer to that is no.
He’s been on four loan spells since becoming an Arsenal player, so that alone tells you everything you need to know about what Wenger thinks of him.
