Lukas Podolski: £5m
The World Cup winner has struggled to find a first-team spot in North London ever since arriving from Cologne and left to join Inter Milan on-loan in January. Due to his poor form in Milan it’s unlikely he will secure a permanent deal but nevertheless, he will leave Arsenal.
A move back to Germany is the most likely scenario, as he could join Cologne for the third time in his career. Or, he could join a more competitive team in the Bundesliga or move to another Italian side, the MLS or elsewhere.
Where he goes is rather irrelevant, as there seems to be no way he can force his way into the squad- especially with Olivier Giroud excelling and Arsenal on the market for another striking recruit this summer.
