Arsenal’s transfer activity this year is hopefully going to be exciting and one thing that could change things from a flop to a hit is outgoing activity, which would free up wages, squad space and, most importantly, spending money for Arsene Wenger.
Speculation on who will stay and who will go is ripe, with many players on the fringes said to be unhappy- whilst others just don’t seem to be the right fit, or have lost their first-team spot.

Carl Jenkinson: £10m
The young right-back has spent the season on-loan in East London with West Ham United, where he has impressed, but unfortunately it doesn’t look like he has a future at the Emirates Stadium- despite making numerous appearances in the past.
Arrivals of Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy last summer pushed him down the pecking order, and ultimately out of the club, whilst the emergence of Hector Bellerin suggests there is no way back for the boyhood Arsenal fan.
Whilst that is a shame due to the player’s love for the club, it would be better for his career to move on- and he will be remembered fondly by Arsenal fans, despite not quite making the cut. There’s just too many rivals for his position.
