3 World Class Players Allegri Could Bring To Arsenal If He Joins

With Arsene Wenger’s future still up in the air, there have been plenty of rumours about who will be the next Arsenal manager next season. The Gunners have been strongly linked with current Juventus boss Massimo Allegri, with reports in Italy even suggesting that he has told friends he will coach Arsenal next season.

Allegri would certainly want to make some changes to the team, and perhaps bring a few influential players from his time at Juventus.

Arsenal have missed something in midfield over the last couple of seasons and that something is Santi Cazorla. The Spaniard is integral to how Arsenal play and his long term absence has really affected the team badly. His current injury looks like it will cause him problems for the rest of his career, so Arsenal cannot afford to rely on him anymore. A player who fits a similar profile is Pjanic. Pjanic was signed by Allegri for Juventus and he has come into central midfield and plays a similar role to Cazorla. Starting from deep, Pjanic contributes to the attacking phase regularly and has notched up 5 goals and 5 assists already this season. Arsenal would probably have to pay more than the £27.5million Juventus paid Roma to sign the 26 year old back in June.
