2. We need another striking option up front
Alexis Sanchez has just about repaid the £35 million price tag that accompanied his journey to the Arsenal from Barcelona. The single goal in the tie ensured that Arsenal were not embarrassed by the Turkish side. Sanchez looked very dangerous as the single striker, especially on the counter attack, adding a pace and fluency that had been lacking in seasons gone by. I still feel that Arsenal are light up front with the revelation that Oliver Giroud will be lucky to play any football before the Christmas period. Giroud’s style of play very much contrasts with that of Sanchez and offers a different dimension. Additionally Sanchez may take a little bit of time settling into the Premier League and I feel that a striker would bolster not only our attack but on our march on the title. There are many options floating around with the likes of Remy and Welbeck being touted, however to truly become title contenders I think that we need to be looking at the likes of Cavani and Falcao.
