3. Ramsey Is Our Talisman
Subdued for large parts of the game but everything ran through him and it was no coincidence that he popped up to score the injury-time winner against Crystal Palace. He proved his quality time and time again last season but now it seems Ramsey has that slight arrogance about him that all world class players have. He commands the ball and is always looking to make things happen. He has become the player the rest of the squad look toward for something special. Ozil is one of the most graceful footballers you’ll ever see but it seems as though Ramsey has developed a Lampard-esque ability to create something individually, pop up at the right place and at the right time to win games. Luckily for us, we do not have to choose between them as I believe those two are the spine of our attacking potential. With them building on an already solid understanding from last season, we could witness a very special partnership.
