After a quiet Transfer Deadline day, Arsenal entered the new season with a clear hole in the team, with fans calling for a new striker or defensive midfielder. However, the team have since scraped past a nervous victory against Crystal Palace and a convincing win against Stoke, and the confidence is building. Last seasons’ hero, Francis Coquelin, played an extremely solid game, with Alexis, Walcott and Koscienly showing why they deserve their place in the starting eleven. The team as a whole seem to be getting into second gear, to which could really give us a boost going into this difficult fortnight of Champions League ties, Tottenham and Chelsea in close proximity.
