Despite selling their best players, Southampton have done terrifically well to replace the players and all the credit goes to Ronald Koeman and his knowledge of the Dutch league. 1. Morgan Schneiderlin
Arsenal were very interested in Schneiderlin during the summer transfer window and it shows why. He has had a terrific start to the season. Last season Schneiderlin made the most interceptions and most key tackles. He is a very good passer Morgan can get the odd goal so Arsenal will need to keep a close eye on him and if Arsenal want to score they must get past him.
2. Dusan Tadic
A fantastic signing from Ronald Koeman in Tadic, after getting 16 goals and 14 assists last season he had his best game in a Southampton shirt and I think he will be a crucial player and Arsenal have to stop his creativity but he does lack the defensive side to his game which Arsenal can take advantage of.
3. Graziano Pelle
Arsenal biggest threat is another great signing by Ronald Koeman is in Pelle, after 29 goals last season he has a big reputation as a clinical finisher, Arsene is likley to rotate his defence due to depth. He has the same style of play like Rickie Lambert but better so he will be a threat to a Gunners defence which is expected to be made up of youngsters.
All these three players might not start against Arsenal, with Southampton also expected to rotate a little. But with no European commitments, Southampton can afford to be at full strength against a Gunners side which will certainly be heavily rotated.
