With the January transfer window around the corner, I wanted to take a look at three deals Arsenal should be trying to complete next month. The Gunners are off the pace in the title hunt and some new signings will help
1 – Jordan Pickford
We brought you the news on Friday morning that Arsenal were reportedly in talks with Sunderland over the transfer of their goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. The Englishman has been very impressive between the sticks this season and with the Black Cats struggling for cash, they would be tempted should Arsenal submit a suitable offer.
This deal looks very possible and Arsenal have already made contact with Sunderland, but a fee is yet to be agreed. Sunderland currently have no money to spend in January so selling him for a high fee but keeping him for the remainder of the season would surely appeal to David Moyes, who hasn’t yet had time to apply his print on the squad.
