2 – Olivier Giroud
Giroud has been unlucky this season. Unfortuantely for him Arsenal have been thriving in a system where Alexis Sanchez plays as the clubs main striker. There’s no doubt that when Arsenal are clicking with Alexis through the middle, they are at their best, but Giroud is still a very good player and needs to play. For the game against PSG I think he must start as the main striker. The French side are likely to play quite defensively and playing Giroud through the middle allows for Arsenal to attack from all angles and attempt to break down the away side with a more strategic approach. When we travelled to Paris on MatchDay 1 Alexis was the lone striker and it didn’t really work. With the Chilean arguably needing a rest, and Olivier in a rich vein of goalscoring form, I think Giroud is a must-select for this game.
