His return to the Premier League from successful loan stints with Atletico Madrid was extremely beneficial to the Blues- and ultimately to Arsenal, as his performances allowed us to snatch Petr Cech from the Blues this summer.
Courtois will now have to show that he can continue to provide the goods on a season-to-season basis, showing that Mourinho’s faith in him was not misplaced.
He makes very few mistakes, commands his area and pulls off some spectacular shots. Arsenal’s front-line will have to be at their finest to beat him.
