3 Key Games In Arsenal’s Title Charge

After Danny Welbeck made the headlines for his new club when Arsenal finally won at Old Trafford for the first time since 2006, in the FA Cup quarter final tie last month, the Gunners will be hungry to repeat the trick in the league.

Louis Van Gaal’s side haven’t been at their brilliant best during another season of transition for the club, but has managed to grind out result after result for the team, whose good form sees them sit third in the table.

It seems United have been a point behind Arsenal for a very long time now, always being right behind the Gunners with both club’s maintaining their rich vain of form in recent months. Again, the best case scenario would be for Arsenal to remain at least ahead of United when the time comes, who are also holding slim hopes of the title.

As ugly as it’s been at times, getting three points is all that matters at this end of the season. Taking maximum points in every game is what’s required, as one slip up could send us plummeting down to another 4th place finish.

Above all though, Arsenal focus must be on finishing at least 2nd, which would be a huge achievement for the club, and not think too much about Chelsea’s results, as much as we all are…
