William Carvalho
The Sporting Lisbon man has been heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League and North London ever since it became clear a deal to bring Sami Khedira to the Emirates was dead in the water. Carvalho appears to be the odds-on favourite to arrive at the Emirates this summer and he would certainly be a good addition.
Sporting Lisbon are a very successful club in terms of developing player, with names like Hugo Viana, Nani and, of course, Ballon D’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo. Word on the Twittersphere suggests that Carvalho is highly-rated by Sporting fans and has raised the most hype since a certain young winger went to Manchester United.
21-year-old Carvalho has great passing ability, which will allow him to pick out the perfect ball to create an attack and is also strong in defence, with tackling and in the air. Carvalho, in all honesty, ticks all boxes- but he will come at a hefty price.
