2. Steven Naismith
Naismith is another scorer in the hammering away to Everton last season, and another effective player in Martinez’s side. He doesn’t light up the team sheet, but he does have a knack of popping up in the right place, and scoring the scruffy goals. Arsenal had a real problem picking him up when he started through the middle last year, and it inevitably hurt us. I think he’ll play through the middle again, with Lukaku wide. Martinez knows we’re weak down that side, there’s no reason to suggest he’ll change otherwise, albeit that Lukaku is naturally a centre forward. Naismith was among the scorers on the opening day, slamming home a first time effort in the box. His season is off to a good start, and he’ll be looking to capitalise on that, and so will Martinez. He’ll be in the mix on Saturday.
