3 Changes Arsenal Must Make For FA Cup Final

Right-Back: Bellerin in for Debuchy

At this point in time I don’t think many Arsenal fans will disagree with this selection change.

Wenger reinstated the Debuchy into the first team as he returned from a near 3 month absence following his shoulder injury back in January.

The Frenchman may be our first-choice right back, but when it came to the game, his awareness seemed a distant memory.

On too many occasions he was found running the ball out of play when getting into the final third, and his lack of games with Ramsey on the right hand side was apparent on Saturday afternoon.

Bellerin brings us something different in a game like Aston Villa, the Spaniard played his part during the 5-0 victory over Villa earlier this year, and even notched himself a goal.

You can put it down to ability, you can put it down to experience, but ultimately what this selection comes down to is a reward for Bellerin.

The full-back has stepped up to do his job when the team needed him, and he hasn’t moaned when being left out of the side for rotation purposes.

Wenger should give the youngster a chance in the final as a way of saying thanks, which surely makes sense to a philosophy the boss has carried for years.
