At Everton Mesut had already got some stick for his performance but with only with only one game under belt since the World Cup final and being played out on the left hasn’t help. I think he has been played out wide to getting him running up and down the pitch so that he can get his match fitness faster. Mesut needs to have a good game on Wednesday so that he gets his confidence up and gets used to playing with Alexis Sanchez.
