5. Geoffrey Kondogbia
We haven’t been linked too strongly with Kondogbia of late, but that doesn’t mean Wenger isn’t interested. The monster of a midfielder would be a perfect addition to the squad. He would add steel and energy, capable of playing as a box to box or a holding midfielder. Kondogbia first caught my eye at the under 20 World Cup, where he looked on the same level as the much sought after Paul Pogba. Kondogbia’s quality performance against us at The Emirates will have surely caught Wenger’s eye.
