Arsenal managed a comprehensive 2-0 win against Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday. There were some excellent pictures from the tie.
The Gunners had not managed a win in Manchester since 2012, but they managed to break this record with an excellent performance on Sunday evening. Goals in each half, one from Santi Cazorla and the other from Olivier Giroud saw Arsenal win 2-0. Clinical in attack, the Gunners were also very secure defensively, with Francis Coquelin and Cazorla particularly impressing at the heart of the midfield.
Hopefully the belief and confidence generated from this win will help the Gunners beat bigger teams in the future, not just in the Premier League but the Champions League too. Alexis Sanchez played well, but it was a complete team effort that saw Arsenal come out on top in this one. There is no way we can be dubbed as a one man team after that performance.
