Joel Campbell’s Arsenal days look to be over. With strong interest from Fenerbache, Benfica and Real Sociedad, Campbell looks all set for a £6million move away in the coming week.
The calibre of club interested in Campbell shows that he is a talented player who can still perform at a European club, but he’s not – and will probably never be good enough to start for Arsenal. His lack of technical ability, particularly a poor first touch has hampered his ability to incorporate into the Arsene Wenger setup. Instead, it seems he will be drafted out without being given an extended run in the team. Wenger will take the bit of profit made on Campbell and move on to bigger and better things.. I hope.
